Source: Recipe card from Minnie Kennan dated 8 March 1978


1 cup Eagle Brand Milk
4 lbs. powdered sugar
2 teas. vanilla
1 lb. butter
4 cups pecans
2 packages unsweetened chocolate
2 bars of wax (same wax you use for making jelly)


  1. Mix sifted sugar, butter, milk, and vanilla by hand.
  2. Add nuts.
  3. Roll into small balls and place on wax paper.
  4. Melt chocolate and wax in top of double boiler, cool to lukewarm temperature.
  5. Dip balls into chocolate, place on wax paper to cool.
